Soldier Modernisation Asia 2011 has now run. We would like to thank everyone who attended and participated in the event. This highly successful event will return to the region again in 2012. Be sure to check back as details will be updated regularly.

With more than 100 attendees from 20+ nations represented onsite on 14-17 March 2011, APAC and international high ranking military officers gathered to discuss the future of the dismounted soldier and how he can be better equipped.

Soldier Modernisation Asia 2011 cemented the conference’s reputation as the leading independent and truly dedicated infantry conference regionally – with attendees able to meet with the key Armies and Industries together in a single room.

Set within the tranquil Sentosa Island, the venue and the event offered unprecedented networking opportunities and established Defence IQ as the leading brand of focused defence conferences in the Asia Pacific.

The development of the ACMS, Land 125, F INSAS and the Korean soldier system were just some of the programs discussed in the conference, with an equal focus on the technical advancements in C4i, power, ballistic and armour protection, lightening the load and lethality.
